Bridges Over Shadows #463

Bridges Over Shadows In the quiet corners of our minds, where shadows weave tales of doubt, Lies a bridge, its arches crafted from the whispers of fear. Yet, beyond this trembling threshold, our dreams await, Bathed in light, untouched by the night's cold embrace. Fear, a specter, dwelling not in the world but within, A mirage, dispelled not by thought but by the courage of action. For the fear of failure's specter should never halt our stride, Nor the dread of the unknown bind our wings from flight. In the scripture's wisdom, a beacon shines, "For God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power, love, and self-control," A reminder that within us burns a flame, unquenched by the night, Guiding us through the darkness with its unwavering light. "Fear not, for I am with you," so the divine promise goes, A pledge of strength, of aid, a hand that forever holds. Beneath the gaze of the righteous, our fears dissolve into dust, Leaving only the path forward, in God we trust. Let faith be the compass that guides our hearts, A map drawn not in lines but in the courage of our parts. For in the act of faith, a garden blooms, where fears once stood, Fed by the waters of action, a testament to the good. In the dance of light and shadow, let faith lead the way, A beacon that turns the night into day. For each step taken in faith is a step away from fear, A journey towards the dreams that we hold dear. So, in this tapestry of life, let us weave threads of gold, Stories of bravery, of love, and virtues bold. For in the end, it is not fear but faith that defines our story, A journey of triumph, bathed in everlasting glory. Written by Steven G. Lee (March 4, 2024)
