Echoes of the Divine: Navigating the Path of Love and Fear In silent chambers deep within the soul, Where love and awe in quiet dance entwine, There blooms a fear, not of the dark's cruel role, But of light dimmed, where divine sparks decline. How can one claim to grasp the radiant light, Yet not recoil from sin's encroaching night? For true love of the Almighty sets alight A fear of sin, as love's pure counterweight. Those who in their hearts God deeply hold, From sin's deceit will naturally fold. This fear, a testament of love untold, Proves true devotion, brave and bold. When we falter, and love seems far withdrawn, For God is love, in essence, dawn to dawn. Hope bridges gaps where light and grace are spawned, Repentance leads us back, a new day born. The cross, a beacon of sacrifice immense, Restores lost love, makes every heart condense. This journey back, through fear's transparent fence, Shows love for God in its most purest sense. "For the fear of the Lord is wisdom's seed, And knowing Him is understanding's creed." (Proverbs 9:10) This wisdom, from reverence freed, Guides us on paths where divine echoes lead. In this sacred dance of light and shadow play, We find the steps, in awe and love to sway. Towards the heart of the Divine, we lay Our fears and loves, in His eternal day. -Written by Steven G.
