A Vision Rekindled #257
Rebirth in Unity: A Modern Church's Creed
In dawn's hush, where ancient whispers merge with modern sighs,
A vision stirs, a revolution, gentle and wise.
Clergy walk, not in gold's heavy embrace,
But in modesty's light, with humility's grace.
Bread shared in fellowship, a rebirth, a new song,
Hands clasped in unity, where all belong.
Side by side, through life's tide, they stand,
Bearing together the joys and pains at hand.
Craftsmen of spirit, of faith and of trade,
Following Paul's footsteps, in grace they wade.
A bridge over worlds, in the square they're found,
Blessings flow from their work-bound hands, profound.
Transparent in stewardship, in faith's bright gaze,
Where needs guide the giving, through the maze.
Not numbers, but necessity, shapes the course,
Echoing the early church, a shared resource.
In solitude's embrace, away from acclaim,
Clergy seek strength in the Sacred Name.
A quiet prayer, a whispered vow,
In humility's presence, they humbly bow.
Threads of accountability, woven tight,
A network of support, in faith's great light.
Together in journey, in sorrow and cheer,
A vision of unity, so vividly clear.
Reborn, the church, in its founder's image, true,
Each ending a beginning, in faith's renew.
Ancient paths guide the present's stride,
In life's prose, this vision abides.
A dance of giving, of hope's bright flame,
The modern church finds its path, its name.
From past patterns, a future drawn,
In this vision, the church's spirit lives on.
