Whispers of Justice: A Prose Prayer #1201

Whispers of Justice: A Prose Prayer In the quiet sanctuaries of our hearts, the festivals falter, the songs dissolve into silence. I hear the voice, resonant and unyielding, "I despise your hollow celebrations, your feasts devoid of meaning. Your offerings, mere gestures, empty of soul—I will not accept them." From the depths, a demand rises, an invocation for justice—to cascade like the relentless waters, for righteousness—to surge like a never-ending stream. This, the true melody, the genuine festivity, where spirit and action converge. Amidst the clamor of hollow hymns, the whisper comes, soft yet potent: "Give rest to the weary, help to the needy, support the poor." This is the prayer, not of words but of deeds, a living prayer, breathing through our very doings. Believe, for belief itself is a vessel of transformation. Await, for the Spirit promises not just presence but power—a baptism not merely in water, but in fire and force. Stay, until you are no longer just you, but you plus the Divine. This power, a gift from the heavens, to fuel the pursuit of what is just and right—imbuing every act, every breath, every moment with the potential of the infinite. Here we stand, at the confluence of faith and works, where true prayer manifests not in solemn assemblies, but in the very essence of our daily strides towards justice and love. Written by Steven G.
