Voices of the Ages: A Prophetic Call for Justice #1163

Voices of the Ages: A Prophetic Call for Justice In echoes of ancient stone and modern screen, Prophets arise, a silent, powerful sheen. Their voices thunder, a minority's call, Guardians of justice, mercy for all. Amos walks fields of future and past, His cries against greed, forever to last. "You trample the poor," a thunderous roar, His words carve justice, deep in the core. Isaiah, in righteousness, beacon so bright, His call cuts the fog, a beacon of light. "Seek justice, correct," his timeless plea, A dream of tomorrow for you and for me. Micah, with simplicity in his embrace, Whispers of kindness, humility's grace. "To do justice, love kindness," his gentle command, A power in softness, a true guiding hand. These voices, a chorus from ages old, Speak to our now, their stories retold. Urgent as ever, their wisdom casts light, On our complexities, in the darkest of night. To advocate, champion, live with intent, Not relics of past, but present they're meant. Carry their message in acts we unfold, In kindness, in justice, in bravery bold. In their echoes, a blueprint, reimagined anew, Where justice and kindness are given their due. A world where their voices are never too small, In the dance of the streets, justice for all. Written by Steven G. Lee (May 3, 2024)
