Unbroken Faith #1272
A Silent Answer: Chains Unbroken
In the silent halls of confinement,
Chains clasp not just flesh but faith.
"I am bound in iron for Christ,"
Paul whispers through the dark—
A beacon steadfast and sure,
As believers swell with courage,
Walking bolder, voices louder,
Proclaiming a gospel free from fear.
In a different hall, under scrutiny's gaze,
Jesus stands, silent amid the storm of accusations.
Pilate, cloaked in authority, questions the quiet,
Puzzled by the calm defiance before him.
"Don't you hear?" he probes,
Wielding power like a blunt tool—
Yet Jesus offers no words, only silence,
A defiance serene, an answer in stillness.
This silence—thick, unbreakable—
Stretches each moment, taut with meaning.
Jesus, the stillness in the chaos,
Echoes through ages with his silent testament:
Not a word spoken, yet his message clear,
A sacrificial act sewing salvation's fabric.
From iron bars to silent stands,
The gospel marches on.
Strength blooms in adversity,
In steadfast courage and silent answers
That whisper through time and space,
Speaking of profound love, unbroken faith.
