In the Grace of God We Walk * #1148
In the Grace of God We Walk
In the quiet dawn, grace whispers,
Soft as the murmur of a stream,
Mercy follows, a companion true,
In their light, our souls gleam.
Blessings flow like rivers wide,
Healing comes, tender and mild,
Anchored in divine gifts so grand,
We, his children, meek and wild.
The Gospel sings of redemption's call,
Each note a promise, clear and bright,
Every soul valued, precious and seen,
In His loving sight, we find our light.
Mercy over justice, the choice is clear,
Compassion's fruits, richer by far,
Jesus spoke, His words still echo:
"I desire mercy," our guiding star.
Despite our stumbles, our countless falls,
God’s mercy stands, vast and deep,
A beacon of unfailing love,
A promise He forever keeps.
Walk in grace, let mercy lead,
With hearts open, kind and pure,
In God's favor, we find our strength,
In His love, forever secure.
