Eternal Illumination #1144
Eternal Illumination
(Beyond the Fading Stars)
In realms where stars forsake their glow,
And moons conceal their silvered face,
Where suns, too tired to burn, bow low,
A steadfast light retains its grace.
This luminescence, pure, profound,
Outshines the sun's brief, seven-day arc,
A beacon where no bounds are found,
A spark divine, a holy mark.
Your essence—more than dust and flame,
A deeper fire, a sacred gleam—
Guides paths unknown, a constant flame,
Where shadows flee and spirits dream.
Scriptures speak of a place divine,
No sun nor moon to pierce the night;
The city glows by God's design,
Its lamp—the Lamb, the endless light.
The Lord, our light, will never fade,
Our mourning ends, His glory stays;
In His bright realm, we're unafraid,
Forever bask in His pure rays.
Here, in the fusion of divine
And mortal threads, your light does shine,
A testament to the sublime,
Where stars may dim, but you remain.
