Echoes of Divine Silence #1268

Echoes of Divine Silence In the hush where heavens meet the earth, A voice ascends—soft, shaking— "Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?" A cry that pierces silence, Where shadows hold their breath And the earth stands still, laden. "My God, my God, why forsake me?" These words, a whispering hymn, Stitch sky to dust in sacred seam, In silence, God's will unfolds With authority silent, In the quiet, spirits mold. Golden light fades at day’s close, Deepening the sacred pause; Silence swells, a tangible shroud, Speaking of sacrifice, Power in the gentle, Strength in the still. This silence, a sanctum of divine command, Shapes existence, unseen, profound— A whisper of wind through eternity, Carrying echoes of the forsaken, In the authority of God’s silent decree.
