Whispers of a New Dawn #187
Whispers of a New Dawn
Beneath the shadow of steel that towers high,
Where city's heartbeat falters, yet we sigh,
A vision blooms, unseen but deeply felt,
Where sunlight strains, and dark shadows melt.
Ezekiel's whispers through the concrete spread,
A future of justice and love, where no tears are shed.
A beacon for those weary, forgotten souls,
Where compassion's light brightly rolls.
In tomorrow's fabric, hope we weave,
From despair's tight clutch, we cleave.
Slums, vast oceans of neglect, recede,
As the earth breathes, from indifference freed.
Homes transform from shelters of despair,
To sanctuaries of dignity, floating in air,
Pillars of a society, from ashes born,
In the light of a hopeful dawn.
Unemployment's chains shatter and fall,
As industry hums, innovation stands tall.
Hands work, not burdened but proud,
Creativity and resilience, loudly avowed.
Incarceration's specter fades away,
Justice restores, leading astray.
Not retributive, but restorative and kind,
Guiding lost souls, purpose to find.
Political divides, once vast, now close,
Leaders from empathy and struggle arose.
Their power, not from wealth, but collective will,
Dreams of a fairer world, they fulfill.
Social justice, no longer a distant dream,
A cornerstone of society, a flowing stream.
'Fat sheep' and 'lean' drink side by side,
Inequality's waters, no longer divide.
The community stands, resilient and strong,
A mosaic of stories, where all belong.
Solidarity's bonds, stretching wide,
Healing wounds, lifting pride.
This dream we dare, a future bright,
Not foretold, but forged in light.
Ancient wisdom, justice's fire,
Fuel our steps, our hearts inspire.
Into the new day's light we step,
Past's echoes guide, promises kept.
A legacy of light, courage, and connection,
Bridges built, in division's reflection.
For our future's not in stars writ,
But in actions and hearts, every bit.
In darkness, light we chose to see,
In despair, courage found, and unity.
This, our testament, to generations to come,
That in hope's horizon, we found our home.
Believing in change, in justice's embrace,
Together, a brighter future, we chase.
