Whispers of the Heart: A Divine Journey In the quiet of the heart, where whispers dwell, Beware the thief of souls, with charm to spell. Words, deeds, power—tools of the stealthy take, Guard your heart, for Heaven's sake. Glory, honor, to God alone belong, Step aside, from the throng. If God's reflection you seek to be, Bind not hearts, but set them free. Carry your cross, follow the Son, In His footsteps, the race is run. Worldly matters, though you feel small, Love as yourself, God's call to all. "Guard against greed," Jesus implored, Life's worth, not in possessions stored. If the world's hate you find upon you, Remember, it hated Him too. Chosen from the world, a peculiar treasure, Worldly hate, in God, find measure. "Humble yourselves," under His might, What profit the world, if the soul's plight? The journey of the soul, from lost to found, Is through repentance, where grace abounds. Divine alignment, a path so true, Love, humility, service—God's call to you. -Written by Steven G. Lee (February 9, 2024)
