Whispers of Dominion: Between Beasts, Men, and the Divine #260

Whispers of Dominion: Between Beasts, Men, and the Divine In the realm where humans whisper secrets to the wild, From the majesty of tigers to the loyalty of dogs, Lies a truth unveiled, not of brute strength, but of mind's command. How did we, the soft-skinned, become the trainers of the beast? Not by force, but by the silent power of knowledge and hand. Yet, this dominion extends, a mirror to our own kind, Where kings and gold-holders craft the strings of societal dance. Invisible threads, pulling, shaping— The weaker molded by the stronger, in a silent, relentless trance. Why do the poor seek the poor, when towers of wealth stand unyielding? Like fish sought on land, we falter, conditioned by invisible fences, A brainwash into submission, echoing slavery's dark past. "The rich rule over the poor," so speaks the ancient proverb, A borrower chained to the lender, freedom but a fading mirage. Yet, amidst the power plays, a divine whisper calls— To be kind to the needy is to honor the Creator, A loan to the Divine, repaid in celestial charge. For one cannot serve two masters, torn between gold and God, A heart divided, will love one and lose the other. In this dance of power, wealth, and divine command, We find our true mastery not in dominion over beasts or men, But in the grace of kindness, the strength of generosity, And in choosing the eternal over the ephemeral sand. -Written by Steven G.
