Whispers of the Divine: Verses of Grace and Love #215
Echoes of Grace: A Journey Beyond Prosperity
In the whispers of the dawn, where light clasps the shadow,
Lies a truth, ancient yet ever new, a melody soft and mellow.
Not in gold's glimmer or wealth's wide sway does its essence rest,
But in the quiet corners of the spirit, in humility's gentle nest.
"God chose the foolish," whispers the wind, a divine paradox bold,
To confound the wise, in mysteries the stars themselves enfold.
And in the weakness, deemed so by worldly eyes that see but skin,
Lies a strength unfathomable, a victory deep within.
In the despised and the downtrodden, in faces worn by tears,
In hands that have known the weight of sorrow through the years,
God plants a garden of hope, a field where grace does abound,
Where the last become first, and the lost, profoundly found.
This Gospel, not of gold but of grace, calls not to thrones of earth,
But to the heart's throne, where true riches find their birth.
It speaks of a kingdom not built on power or hoarded wealth,
But on love's unyielding force, on mercy and spiritual health.
In this tapestry of existence, where every thread is a tale,
The Prosperity Gospel fades, a ship too frail to sail.
For the essence of the message, in Christ's footsteps worn,
Is love that embraces the outcast, and hearts by grace reborn.
Let us then weave a future, not with threads of gold or fame,
But with acts of kindness, compassion, in Jesus' holy name.
A community of believers, where the greatest is the least,
And the table is wide and welcoming, for a holy, heavenly feast.
So let us walk this path, beyond the allure of material gain,
To a place where joy is found, not in possessions, but in love's domain.
Where the Gospel's heart beats strong, in every deed and word,
Echoing the call of the divine, in the soul's deepest, most heard.
This is the journey we're called to, a voyage bold and deep,
Where the seeds of the true Gospel in every heart will sleep.
Awake, then, dreamers and doers, to this call of ages past,
To live a faith that's real, in a love that will forever last.
