Threads of Grace: A Tapestry Unveiled #242
Threads of Grace: A Tapestry Unveiled
In hallowed whispers, ancient rites speak,
Sacred threads, tales of divinity they seek.
A priest, in solemn garb, stands alone,
Guarding the thin veil, to the divine shown.
His robe, untouched, bears sacred weight,
A testament to a bond, ancient and great.
Yet, in the cross's shadow, a figure stands,
In simplicity robed, fate in His hands.
Seamless garment, unity's weave,
A symbol of a realm, we scarcely conceive.
Dice cast, lots drawn, around Him they bide,
For a piece of the divine, their hearts divide.
Jerusalem mourns, through her streets a cry,
As the priest's garments tear, tradition awry.
This act of desecration, a new dawn spells,
Where the tearing of the veil, grace foretells.
Upon Golgotha's height, cruelty's throne,
The seamless spared, division unknown.
"Father, forgive them," the prayer ascends,
A plea for all, as ignorance bends.
The rending of priestly robes, a stark divide,
Between sacred guards and grace, side by side.
Old thresholds guarded, now a path clear,
To boundless grace, drawing near.
In humility robed, sacrifice's embrace,
A narrative of unity, love's trace.
A poem of hope, in every stitch, every thread,
Where reconciliation's verses, eternally spread.
