The Sacred Balance: A Poetic Quest #204

The Sacred Balance: A Poetic Quest In heart-chapels, silent and profound, Where ancient hymns and whispers blend, Unfolds a challenge, vast and bound— A tapestry, divinely penned. Here, in this dance, sacred and true, Where infinite meets touch of earth, The figure of Christ comes into view, In him, divinity finds its birth. This balance, delicate as dawn's first light, Calls us to see, in suffering's face, The human Jesus, in his plight, And in his divinity, grace's embrace. Theologians, with ink-stained hands, Mapped out this terrain, vast and wide, Their legacy, like shifting sands, Guides us beyond the ebbing tide. Today, at history's crossroads we stand, Called to a gospel, both urgent and old, To live Christ's love across the land, A story of grace, bravely told. This is our calling, our poem to write, Where divinity and humanity entwine, In acts of love, justice, and light, The gospel's truth, in every line. In the balance, our challenge sings, Not a burden, but a call to flight, With Jesus, where heaven's bell rings, And divine meets human, in sacred rite. So let us, with courage, embrace this quest, Weaving hope for a world so wide, In the sacred balance, we find our rest, And in our hearts, Christ abides. This journey, our poem, our sacred test, To live the gospel, where love resides, In the balance of Christ, we are blessed, And in his path, our spirit guides. -Written by Steven G.
