Servitude's Light: A Journey of Humble Love #276
Servitude's Light: A Journey of Humble Love
In the quiet heart of love divine,
Where God's embrace and souls entwine,
We find the call, both clear and bright,
To love, to serve, to shine His light.
Love thy God, and neighbors too,
With actions kind and intentions true.
Do justly, love mercy, walk humbly along,
In God's gentle grace, where we belong.
Treat all souls as you'd have them do,
Reflecting a love pure and true.
For leadership's not a crown worn with pride,
But servitude's cloak, worn wide.
"Those who lead," the scriptures say,
"Must serve with love, day by day.
Not as rulers with power's might,
But as servants, in God's sight."
For sinners may ride, in pride they bask,
Yet the righteous walk, in humility they mask.
Holiness measured not by rank or by pace,
But closeness to God, and His saving grace.
Prayer, our refuge, humility's door,
To serve like Jesus, who came before.
A servant-leader, with love as his guide,
For others, not self, he lived and died.
Thus, in our hearts, let this truth plant,
To serve, to love, without rant or cant.
For in servitude, our spirits soar,
With humility, love, and so much more.
So let us walk, in righteous ways,
Serving with love, all our days.
For in God's eyes, great are we,
When we serve with love, and humbly.
