In Unity's Garden: Verses of Democracy's Resilience #212

In Unity's Garden: Verses of Democracy's Resilience In the vast garden of time, democracy stands, A flower resilient, nurtured by many hands. Its roots, deep in liberty's fertile ground, Draw strength from the justice that abounds. Voices, like seeds, in this garden sown, Dreams of equality, in deeds shown. Challenges roar, winds strong and wild, Yet the flower stands, hope's undaunted child. Tomorrow's architects, with fate's pen, Guard the garden, again and again. Transparency, our shield; integrity, our blade, Paths through corruption, bravely laid. Seeds of education in minds' soil cast, Cultivating wisdom, vast and vast. Knowledge, the water that freedom's thirst quenches, Awareness, the light that darkness blenches. A tapestry of voices, in unity we weave, Each strand a story, in democracy we believe. Under the sun, every flower finds its space, In this garden, every shadow finds its grace. Technological dawn, the future bright, Yet human touch, compassion's light. Democracy, a spirit, more than laws and systems, A community's heartbeat, in unity's rhythms. Facing the unknown, the future we embrace, With visions of democracy, in grace. A garden flourishing, in peace and equality's lease, Where democracy's bloom never ceases to cease. Custodians of a dream, forward we march, Towards freedom's horizon, vast and arch. In democracy's heart, a belief so deep: In united power, no grief too steep. Garden of Resilience, our anthem, our plea, In democracy's soil, we plant hope's tree. For in unity's strength, and diversity's blend, Lies the power to overcome, to mend. -Written by Steven G. Lee (February 5, 2024)
