Gospel Threads: Weaving Unity and Faith #297
Gospel Threads: Weaving Unity and Faith
In the quiet spaces between belief and the sacred text,
There lies a choice—a divergence:
To mold life's standards from the clay of personal creed,
Or to anchor them deeply in the gospel's eternal seed.
In the realm where self-made doctrines reign,
Expectations become chains, binding others just the same.
Yet, rooted in the gospel's fertile ground,
A broader vista is found, where love and grace abound.
"Be not conformed," whispers Romans, a gentle plea,
"To this world, but transformed, let your mind be free."
Embrace the divine, the good, the right,
The will of God, a guiding light.
This shift of heart, this renewal of mind,
Breeds unity, understanding, a bond of a kind.
A tapestry of souls, diverse, yet tightly sewn,
By the unchanging truths the gospel has shown.
Those who walk in the footsteps of Christ,
In selfless love, their lives are priced.
Facing danger, embracing harm,
With faith in grace, they find calm.
Devotion profound, loyalty unwavering,
In body, mind, and soul, their all, offering.
A testament of faith, of life intertwined,
With the divine—a prose poetry, divinely designed.
