Echoes of Tomorrow: A Digital Requiem #189
Echoes of Tomorrow: A Digital Requiem
In the expanse where steel kisses sky,
And circuits with souls entwined do lie,
A voice through the digital tempest sweeps,
A lament for the age where silicon creeps,
Where keystrokes spawn deceit's dark wave,
And screens flicker false truths they crave.
Neon corners of tomorrow glow,
Data the currency, the gospel we know,
Encoded in ones, in zeros it hides,
Our reflections in glass, distorted, bides.
Great and small, by ambition chained,
Through progress's maze, by illusions stained.
With pockets of wealth, not truly theirs,
Hearts empty of honesty, unawares.
Trading half-truths, brittle promises sell,
Whispering "All is well" into the void, they tell.
But beneath this peace, a veneer so frail,
Foundations tremble, truths pale.
Leaders dream with eyes shut tight,
Of calm seas, not the looming fight.
The iceberg of reality, vast, unseen,
Beneath them lurks, unforgiving, keen.
Yet from this doom, a beacon bright,
A vision of integrity, in the storm a light.
A future where truth and wisdom lead,
Innovation's cornerstone, from deceit freed.
Architects of dawn, with conscience build,
A future with transparency, trust instilled.
Here, compassion reigns, empathy's network spread,
A doctrine of shared destiny, where no tears are shed.
Prophets reborn, not greed, but unity preach,
A world where every voice, every soul can reach.
From ashes of deceit, a new path we carve,
Together, in unity, from truth we starve.
"Not well," we admit, in this strength we find,
A future for all, to none confined.
Measured not by wealth or power's crest,
But by kindness, justice, in fertile ground blessed.
In the garden of future, redemption we seek,
Not in false echoes, but in action meek.
Together we walk, into dawn's gentle light,
In harmony's song, into the bright.
