A Journey Beyond In labor's shadow, we seek reward, Yet motivation dims when loss is stored. Beyond mere gains, or discipline's tight chord, Lies self-actualization, a journey toward. The simple lures of power, wealth's broad shore, Can't echo deep within, can't core afford. It's Christ's teachings that gently implore, A solace, compassion, not ignored. Like children cared for, gentle and assured, A celestial guide, a bond restored. Where human efforts falter, overboard, Divine intervention, by faith explored. Intellect alone, a path misstored, Strength without guidance, vulnerabilities poured. Wealth as cure-all, spiritually ignored, Leads not to riches, but voids deplored. In stark contrast, God's sovereignty soared, Through Christ's teachings, a heartfelt accord. A path diverges from humanly flawed, To divine embrace, forever adored. -Written by Steven G.
