Divine Stewardship: The Redemption of Earth #217*

"Divine Stewardship: The Redemption of Earth" In the tapestry of time, where divine threads entwine, Echoes of a covenant, through scripture, we divine— "The earth is Mine," so speaks the Lord, clear and profound, Its redemption for all, in His love, is bound. In the whirl of life, where progress seeks its claim, A call to pause, to remember from whence we came. The voice of creation, in reverence, seeks our gaze, Urging us to act with justice, in all our ways. This sacred earth, sky, waters, and the deep, Entrusted to us, for all, not just to keep. A charge to steward with hearts both gentle and bold, Ensuring its redemption, as foretold. Communities united, in harmony they thrive, On land that's blessed, where dreams can come alive. Let equity in stewardship be our guiding light, So hope can flourish, in every heart, bright. The wealth of land, in common trust, we share, A pledge to future generations, showing we care. In sharing the bounty, with grace and equity, We honor God's creation, setting spirits free. A vision of redemption, where values stand true, Calls us to embrace a perspective anew. To nurture our earth—land, water, air, all divine, Ensuring its beauty for the end of time. Let us rise, with purpose and hearts wide, To honor the earth, God's presence our guide. Through the redemption of land, in every deed, We'll see justice unfold, meeting every need. Together, let's walk a path, with light so bright, Where every creature finds joy, every wrong made right. For the land's redemption, a promise so grand, Is ours to fulfill, in God's loving command. -Written by Steven G. Lee (February 5, 2024)
