In the empire's heart, his words did find, A nation's spirit, and princes kind. Meanwhile, Calvin, in Geneva's bounds, A different drum, his heart resounds. Predestination, God's sovereign plan, Moral living, for every woman and man. His governance, a city-state dream, Where civic and divine, in harmony seem. A model for all, his legacy's claim, A church organized, in Jesus' name. Between these giants, differences lay, In how they saw God's way. Luther's heart, with individual's light, Calvin's order, society's might. Yet in today's quest, their paths converge, As modern reformers, on the brink, emerge. Inclusivity, dialogue's embrace, Justice, technology, and nature's grace. As we walk forward, in their footsteps tread, Their lessons and love, our daily bread.
