Whispers of Redemption #1045

Whispers of Redemption In the hushed corners where heaven kisses earth, A voice, both tender and mighty, calls forth: “Receive the Holy Spirit,” a whisper through souls, Nestling in hearts where forgiveness takes hold. It speaks again, with a weighty decree: “I grant you keys to the kingdom, to keep.” What's bound on earth, in heaven remains; What’s freed takes flight, in celestial chains. A question lingers, light as a feather: Is it easier to forgive, or say, “Rise, be better”? To absolve a sin or urge the fallen to stand, And walk, unburdened, toward their home's warm land? Thus, ponder deep, where these echoes resonate: Is mercy simpler, or is it to rehabilitate? Written by Steven G. Lee (April 27, 2024)
