From Law to Grace: The New Exodus #1098
From Law to Grace: The New Exodus
In the whisper of ancient sands beneath a timeless sky,
A people chained by history’s iron, marched where waters split high.
Miraculous walls of liquid glass, a corridor divine,
Their path through sea, a baptism into Law at Sinai's spine.
Desert winds spun centuries forth; along the Jordan’s edge,
A voice cried out, not from the storm but from the wilds—a pledge.
John, in camel’s hair, baptized with softer touch than flame,
Calling souls to repent and change, a new covenant to claim.
Into these gentler waters stepped the One ordained to save,
Jesus, beloved, under open skies, transcending what Moses gave.
From Jordan’s grace he rose, not just cleansed but made anew,
Inaugurating an exodus from sin, with a covenant more true.
This passage not through desert dust but through the veils of heart,
From stone-cold Law to living Grace, a divine, transformative art.
Under this new covenant, no slaves to rules we roam,
But children of the Spirit, in the heart of Grace at home.
From Red Sea’s crash to Jordan’s flow, from stone to Spirit’s call,
This journey redefines our fate, a rebirth offered to all.
Emerging not as mere survivors of a watery grave,
But heirs to a kingdom of Light, in the endless grace we crave.
