Stewards of the Eternal Covenant #1047
Stewards of the Eternal Covenant
(Covenant of the Sojourners)
In the sacred whispers of Leviticus, truths unfurl—
"The land shall not be sold forever, for it is mine,"
So speaks the Divine,
Reminding us, we are but wanderers fleeting,
Tending to an earth that claims us, too.
Beneath our feet, the soils hum of stewardship,
The skies, unclaimable, cradle us in boundless embrace.
And Jesus, heart as wide as heavens, inquires:
"Who are my mother and brothers?"
His gaze cuts deeper than blood,
To a family woven by spirit's thread,
Bound by deeds that echo divine will.
Here we stand, not as proprietors but guardians,
Caretakers of legacies not etched in stone, but in actions gentle and just.
With reverence, we tread; with humility, we live.
This earth, this sky—our cherished charge,
Ours not to own, but to love, to safeguard.
Hand in hand, let us forge a communion,
Aligning hearts beneath the vast canopy of creation,
Fostering a fellowship that honors this sacred pact.
Together, nurturing a world that reflects our care,
A testament to the unity and grace that bind us all in celestial accord.
