Whispers of Redemption: A Pathway to Forgiveness #868
Whispers of Redemption: A Pathway to Forgiveness
(Echoes of Grace: The Pathway of Repentance)
In the stillness between whispers, we utter simple truths,
"Stop," we say to smoke, to drink, to the slow decay of day.
Yet heavier words sink deep, where shadows sleep—
"Your sins are forgiven," they resonate, a profound echo
lingering longer than smoke in a sealed room.
Sin stalks like a shadow, growing bolder as daylight wanes,
stretching with the sun's retreat until night swallows all light.
But shadows, too, fear the dawn.
Repentance rains down like mercy on dry earth,
not just a step back but a leap forward
into arms open with grace.
Unchecked, sin emboldens, entangles like ancient roots.
Yet here stands a promise, stronger than oaken sinews—
salvation springs from repentant hearts.
Jesus spoke with authority tender yet immense:
to forgive is divine, to heal is His grace.
Mark, John, Matthew, Luke—voices of a timeless chorus,
singing of chains shattered, of lives stitched anew.
Called not to despair's table, but to a feast of second chances,
we dine on humility, sip from mercy's chalice.
Embrace repentance's gift, proclaim it in the light of day—
For here lies the pathway to forgiveness,
walking back through Eden's gates, guided by the echo
of a truth enduring: where there is repentance,
there is hope; and where there is forgiveness,
there flows love—endless and profound.
