Whispers at Dawn's Light #901

Whispers at Dawn's Light Before dawn's light splits the darkened veil, The world in hushed reverence waits, At the crossroads of spirit and the worldly gale, In that silent hour, the soul contemplates. "No one can serve two masters," echoes soft and clear, A truth that pierces the pre-dawn chill, Not both God and gold can the heart hold dear, One must ascend, the other must yield. Consider the Rich Fool, his barns overflow, Yet his soul wanders empty, lost and cold, True wealth is not what the granaries show, But in spirit-riches, neither bought nor sold. As stars linger in the waning night, The Master seeks solace in secluded prayer, His whispers mingle with the fading starlight, Aligning His will with a burden He'll bear. Beware the path of Ananias with Sapphira at his side, Their footsteps faltered under weight of greed, In their deceit, their fate was tied, A grim reminder that integrity is what we need. Rise, not in body alone but in spirit revive, To shepherd hearts to pastures green, Lead not by force but by example thrive, Tend to each soul, keep the waters serene. In the quiet choice of morning's embrace, Let our actions hymn devotion's tune, Our days testament to His grace, Under the watchful eye of the waning moon. Choose wisely, for each choice engraves, On the tablet of time, our story's arc, Let us walk in light as He paves, From the rooster's call to the evening's dark. Written by Steven G.
