Ripples of Faith #781

Ripples of Faith In the heart where faith's seed softly lands, Where the gospel of Christ takes its stands, It teaches us with a gentle hand: Address the near, the clear, the demand. Before the distant shadows we chase, Before the obscure, we face to face, Prioritize the evident grace, In simple steps, life’s puzzle embrace. A ripple effect, so wide, so deep, From Christ's teachings, a harvest to reap. Correct one, and the cascade will sweep, Transforming lives, in faith's leap so steep. Lament not the world's overwhelming tide, While gospel's roots in our hearts reside. For trying to straighten shadows outside, Is futile if the tree’s twisted inside. In Christ's light, the twisted find their way, The crooked shadows straighten as they may. For in addressing what's near today, The distant and obscure shall sway, obey. Written by Steven G.
