Resurgence: Hymns of Scriptural Renewal #880
Resurgence: Hymns of Scriptural Renewal
(Verses of Revival: Scriptural Songs of Hope)
In deserts vast, where silence reigns,
A whisper stirs beneath cracked plains.
Isaiah’s voice, clear and profound,
Promises life where none was found.
A valley deep, with bones so dry,
Underneath a somber sky.
Ezekiel speaks, the dead arise,
Sinews knit beneath his eyes.
From the throne, a voice decrees,
“All things new,” the ultimate reprieve.
Tears and sorrow find their end,
In divine hands that mend and tend.
Through the weave of fate and chance,
Romans sees a sacred dance.
Each thread pulled by gentle hands,
Crafting good from life’s strands.
Corinthians pens love’s true form,
Through storms it endures, forever warm.
Kind and patient, it does not boast,
A guide for hearts, love’s gracious host.
John’s command, profound and clear,
Love as Christ did, hold it dear.
A sacrifice, beyond mere feel,
Love that acts, love that heals.
These words, a tapestry of grace,
Guide us through each darkened space.
Like trees cut down that yet will rise,
With faith’s water, under open skies.
