My Homecoming, Your Homecoming #740

My Homecoming, Your Homecoming In the tapestry of time, woven fine, Where my journey's end meets the start of thine, A whisper in the wind, a truth divine, My homecoming, dear friend, mirrors thine. Through valleys deep and mountains high, Underneath the same vast sky, Our paths may diverge, then align, Your homecoming intertwined with mine. With every step, through every door, We find what our hearts have been searching for, A shared space, a common shore, My homecoming is yours to explore. In the warmth of embrace, in the light of a smile, Across the miles, across the aisle, We find that home is not just a place, But a moment shared, a familiar grace. For in the Gospel's glowing light, We're guided home, through darkest night, Together, under His watchful sight, Our homecomings merge, bright and right. So let us celebrate, let hearts sing, For the lost found, and the joy they bring, My homecoming, your homecoming, A chorus of souls, in unity, ringing. Written by Steven G. Lee (April 1, 2024)
