In the Quiet Solitude of Faith #920

In the Quiet Solitude of Faith In the vastness of our faith, Like solitary wild geese soaring high, We navigate the quiet solitude, Echoing steps in an endless sky. Yet in this silence, a congregation hides, Unseen yet felt in the soul’s deep rooms, A spiritual gathering, silently abiding, Where shared whispers dispel our glooms. Trials come with both twist and tug, Revealing strength where once was none; Complexities in simplicity’s hug, Where hard paths soften under shared sun. In prayer’s whisper, in breath’s pause, No step is ever made alone; God’s will unfolds without a cause, In each heartache, joy, and moan. His providence weaves through each of us, A tapestry rich and infinitely spun, In every tear, in every smile, His work—through our communion—is done. So let us walk, not solitary but together, In the spirit’s bond, forever strong; Through valleys deep and mountain heather, In solitude, we find our throng. Encouraging each, uplifting all, In quiet victories, in trials we face; In company, whether big or small, We find the courage, the hope, the grace. Written by Steven G. Lee (April 15, 2024)
