Guardians of the Light: A Pilgrimage of Shared Faith* #809

Guardians of the Light: A Pilgrimage of Shared Faith In the tapestry where our spirits weave, We stand as guardians, in faith we believe. Not a path of solitude we choose to tread, But a journey together, by compassion led. From the ancient texts, wisdom does unfold, In Mark's enduring words, a tale is told. Of millstones, seas, and sacrificial right, A warning delivered in the quiet of night. With hands, feet, and eyes, if sin does entwine, Remove them we must, for the divine line. It's not of punishment these scriptures speak, But of love's fierce power, both strong and meek. Through trials like fire, and salt that preserves, Our faith is refined, in the curve of life's swerves. We're pilgrims on paths where light must be shared, With every step, showing how much we've cared. In actions, in words, our impacts resound, On the fertile grounds of faith, they're found. To nurture, to guard, with a gentle hand, Ensuring together, in light we stand. Let's move with purpose, with love, and with care, In the shadows we cast, in the light we share. As keepers of faith, in this journey, we partake, In the tapestry of life, our mark we make. So let us weave bonds of belief so true, No storm can sever, no wind can undo. In this pilgrimage of faith, hand in hand, Guardians of the light, together we stand. Written by Steven G. Lee (April 6, 2024)
