Grace's Melody: A Pilgrimage Through Shadows* #801

Grace's Melody: A Pilgrimage Through Shadows (Whispers of Redemption: A Dance of Divine Grace) In the valley's shadow, where hearts betray, Where greed's cold fingers, the soul's clay, A tale unfolds, dark as night, Of tenants bold, in wrongful fight. "The Wicked Husbandmen," a story sown, In earth's embrace, their deeds thrown, Against the heir, they plot, they plan, To seize a legacy, not theirs to span. Yet, amidst the dark, a truth rings clear, We're but stewards here, of a sphere So vast, so wide, under divine command, Transient guardians of a sacred land. Then shifts the tale, to grace, so wide, "God's Merciful Plumb Line," our guide, Where flaws reflect, in the law's harsh gaze, Yet in Christ, ends the law's maze. Through Galatians' words, through Romans' breath, A path emerges from the shadow of death, Not by deeds, but faith, we're set free, In grace's arms, we find the key. A journey, thus, from shadow to light, From greed's dark grip to grace's bright sight, Our earthly claims, but whispers in the wind, Against the promise of redemption, we find. For in this dance, divine and pure, We find a love, enduring, sure, A bridge over sin's wide, treacherous sea, In Christ's embrace, we're truly free. So let us walk, in grace's glow, Beyond the law's confines, its shadow, To live in faith, in love's embrace, And in our hearts, let grace find its place. For we're pilgrims here, in time's wide sea, Dancing to grace's melody, In "Whispers of Redemption," our tale unfurled, A dance of divine grace, across our streets. Written by Steven G. Lee (April 5, 2024)
