Echoes of Grace: A Journey Beneath the Cross #826
Echoes of Grace: A Journey Beneath the Cross
(Whispers from Golgotha)
Beneath the shadow of the cross they stood,
A spectrum wide of humanity’s mood.
Silent gazers, hearts encased in wood,
Skeptics sharp, their mocking tone so crude.
______
“He saved others, yet himself he cannot,”
Echoes in the wind, from Luke to Mark,
A challenge thrown, a divine plot,
In darkness, these words struck a spark.
Here lies a king, his throne a cruel cross,
Crown of thorns upon his sacred brow.
His kingdom not of gold, but of loss,
His power in surrender, this he shows.
Not by might, but by a love profound,
In weakness, his true strength was found.
A sacrifice, where hope and grace abound,
Silent whispers of love, in darkness sound.
What role we play in this eternal tale,
Bystanders at a distance, or scoffers bold?
The crucifixion, a love that never fails,
Calls us to embrace, and in faith, to hold.
Let us not be mere watchers of the night,
But carriers of His light, His sacrifice,
In humility and love, find our might,
On paths of suffering, our hearts entice.
For in the shadow of Golgotha’s hill,
Lies the path to greatness, a divine will.
A lesson of love, a silent thrill,
In whispers, our souls, it seeks to fill.
So let us journey, with hearts wide open,
Through valleys dark, where shadows play.
In the story of the cross, we're woven,
Love’s eternal whisper, leading the way.
