Divine Dance: Verses of Faith, Grace, and Mercy #889
Divine Dance: Verses of Faith, Grace, and Mercy
(Graceful Sojourns: A Tapestry of Faith, Grace, and Mercy)
In quiet spaces where light sifts, stained glass hues,
Whisper tales of faith—a vine clinging,
Not to barren cliffs, but twined with divine mercy,
For faith unmoored by grace, drifts in longing seas,
A song, half-formed, without its harmony.
Grace descends like gentle rain upon our souls,
Lost in deserts of despair, unearned and free,
Transforming lonely races into waltzes divine,
Where steps in sync with God conquer our darkest nights,
Turning addictions, sorrows, into light.
Abundant grace overflows, more than hands can hold,
Spilling, quenching the thirst of neighbors unseen.
Brokenness transmutes to beauty under its touch,
"God restores," the wind whispers, "into something amazing,"
Hope blooms where despair once took root, unchanging.
Yet, what of mercy? Faith without its gentle embrace,
Resounds empty, like a clanging cymbal’s base.
Justice without mercy, a cruel, barren scape,
Where forgiveness fears to tread or even grace.
Mercy, vast as oceans, embraces our flaws,
Encircles pain, guides to repentance without pause.
As we stand to pray, let bitterness release,
Forgive, as forgiven, and find peace.
Carry this message, etched upon your heart,
Let faith guide, grace pathfind, and mercy start.
Together weaving life’s full narrative—a redemption song,
Crafted by divine hands, a dance to which we all belong.
