The True Treasure In fields where earthly treasures gleam, Men chase the gold, the fleeting dream. Yet dust to dust, all riches fade, In shadows deep, their worth is weighed. A hidden gem, divine and pure, A treasure that will long endure. The Kingdom's worth, beyond compare, Discovered by a heart in prayer. He found the field, the secret hid, And joyfully, he closed the lid. With heart aflame, he sold his all, To claim the prize, he heeds the call. For where our treasure truly lies, There our hearts will lift their eyes. In Christ, our wealth, our joy complete, In Heaven’s light, our hearts will meet. So let us seek the lasting gain, Beyond the fleeting, earthly chain. In Christ, our treasure, pure and true, Our hearts align, our lives renew.
