The Gospel's True Treasure: A Prose Poetry #2168

The Gospel's True Treasure: A Prose Poetry Embracing the Sacred Call In the quiet corners of my soul, a whisper echoes, "There is no greater fault than not being satisfied with the Gospel." The words of Pastor Steven G. Lee resound like a clarion call, urging me to anchor my heart in the depths of divine truth. The allure of seeking treasures beyond the sacred vault, wandering in realms where shadows masquerade as light, is ever-present. Yet, the farther I go with knowledge as my guide, the more I realize how little I truly know, and how easily I can fall into the abyss of delusion. But there is a secret hidden in plain sight, a wisdom that only the humble heart can grasp. It is found in the simple act of sharing the Gospel with those near, with neighbors whose lives intertwine with ours. In this sacred exchange, a profound transformation takes place. Every day, I learn anew, an acute awareness blossoming within my soul, as the Gospel's grace unfurls its petals in my life. Contentment grows in this embrace, as faith stands tall and unwavering. In the Gospel, I find my place, a refuge from the stormy seas of doubt and delusion. Here, in the sacred simplicity of God's loving face, the greatest call resonates. The Gospel is not just a message to be shared, but a treasure to be cherished, a beacon that guides us home. Each day becomes a journey, a dance of divine alignment, where every twist and turn reveals more of the Gospel's true treasure. It is in this daily communion, this ongoing dialogue with the divine, that the Gospel makes me whole. And in its embrace, I am reminded that the greatest treasure is not found in the far reaches of knowledge, but in the humble, faithful sharing of the Gospel's timeless truth. -Steven G. Lee (July 3, 2024)
