Cross Over, Not Cross Out #2130

Cross Over, Not Cross Out Don't fall back into the old patterns of life, Breathe life all in, love life all out. Cross over, not cross out. We are struggling because of our old grounds, Our past actions follow us around, Constantly plaguing us, a haunting sound. We search for a way out, a light, a sign, Bound by the chains of the past, we pine. But hear this plea, this divine appeal, "I appeal to you... by the mercies of God," To present your bodies as a living sacrifice, Holy, acceptable to God, an act of true life. Do not be conformed to this world's mold, But be transformed, let your spirit unfold. By the renewal of your mind, set free, That by testing you may discern and see, What is the will of God, the path to tread, What is good, acceptable, and ahead. Cross over, not cross out, hear the call, In His mercy and grace, we shall not fall. Present yourself, a living flame, Holy and pure, in His holy name.
