The Unchanging Call In a world that twists and turns, Where values shift like sand, A timeless call within us burns, A truth so grand and grand. “If anyone should come to Me,” The Savior’s voice is clear, “Love Me above all you see, Let nothing interfere.” Not hatred as we comprehend, But love that’s pure and true, A love for God that won’t descend, No matter what ensues. Jesus and today’s values clash, His words so bold and bright, A path of sacrifice, not cash, A beacon in the night. To follow Christ is to embrace A cross upon our back, To lose our life, yet find His grace, And nevermore to lack. The gospel’s heart, its sacred core, Unchanging through the years, A light that guides forevermore, And wipes away our tears. No matter how the seasons change, Or trends may come and go, The fundamental spirit stays, A fire that will not slow. To love the Lord with all our might, To follow where He leads, To cherish not the fleeting light, But Christ in all our deeds. So let us stand with hearts aglow, Embrace the gospel’s call, In steadfast faith, let’s always grow, And give to God our all.
