The Gospel's True Treasure #2169

The Gospel's True Treasure There is no greater fault, Than a heart unsatisfied with the Gospel, Seeking treasures beyond the sacred vault, Wandering in realms of shadows hostile. The farther you go, With knowledge as your guide, The less you truly know, Lost in delusion's tide. But near, with humble heart, Share the Gospel's grace, With neighbors, do your part, And you'll find your place. Daily you'll learn, Acute awareness in your soul, With every twist and turn, The Gospel makes you whole. Content in its embrace, With faith that stands so tall, You'll see God's loving face, In the Gospel, the greatest call. -Steven G. Lee (July 3, 2024)
