The Glory of God: A Conscience Cleansed In desert's vast expanse He stood alone, Temptations whispered, doubts began to drone. Yet Christ, steadfast, resisted every snare, God's glory shone through mercy, grace, and prayer. A wilderness, a crucible of heart, Where light and dark within the soul depart. Temptations faced, a battle fierce and bold, To yield or stand, to fragment or be whole. The silence deep, where tempter's lies did ring, Conscience found its voice, a righteous spring. With every choice, our Savior chose the light, In truth, His strength, His glory shining bright. He cleansed our conscience, pure and crystal clear, Drawing us close, erasing every fear. Through Him, repentance brings our hearts in line, A good conscience, a reflection of the divine. God's glory seen in mercy's tender call, In acts of grace, both great and small. Through every trial, temptation's cunning test, A clear conscience leads us to righteousness. O wondrous grace, O tender mercy's plea, In Christ alone, our hope, our victory.
