The Echo of Trust People don't often trust the words they hear, For words can be shadowed by doubt and fear. "If I am not doing the works of My Father, Then do not believe Me," Jesus said, rather "Even though you do not believe Me, believe the works, So you may know the Father's love, and see it in me." Trust is not in words alone, but in deeds, In the practice of faith, the planting of seeds. When actions align with the divine, The heart finds reasons to believe and find. God brings unlovely souls into our space, Teaching us love in its truest grace. For real love isn't our love for God above, But His love for us, a perfect, eternal dove. God is life, in His love so pure, Knowing who should stay, and who to endure. Trust in His plan, let go of control, Those meant to stay, will fulfill their role. In the echo of actions, trust will grow, In the reflection of love, His presence will show. Believe not just in words, but in what is done, For in deeds of love, His kingdom has begun. -Steven G.
