The Guiding Light of Conscience #2161
The Guiding Light of Conscience
In the depths of our souls, a beacon glows,
An indigenous thought, where true wisdom flows.
More precious than a million mindless notions,
A lighthouse guiding through life's commotions.
"Keep your conscience clear," the apostle's call,
For neglect brings faith to a perilous fall.
When violated, our inner compass sways,
And faith is shipwrecked in life's stormy bays.
"Woe to you," said Jesus, with truth's sharp sting,
To those who hindered the knowledge they should bring.
Experts of the law, with hearts so untrue,
Blocked the path of wisdom for seekers anew.
In the quiet depths where conscience resides,
A light unspoken, our true guide abides.
Illuminating paths through the darkest night,
A steadfast glow, a beacon of right.
Whispers of conscience, gentle yet strong,
Guide us through life, help us right the wrong.
In its clarity, we find the strength to face,
Life's challenges with integrity and grace.
In daily life, conscience plays its part,
Informing decisions, guiding the heart.
In moral dilemmas, it shows the way,
Toward justice, truth, and the righteous stay.
In relationships, it builds trust anew,
Prompts kindness, empathy, in all we do.
Fosters forgiveness, bridges to mend,
Acts with honesty, a true friend's end.
In professions, conscience drives the call,
To stand for justice, to fairness enthrall.
Upholds integrity, in every field,
Ensures our actions, to truth are sealed.
A clear conscience, a light that never dims,
A guide unfaltering, in life's dark whims.
Let us strive to keep this inner light bright,
Follow its whispers, walk in its light.
For in its glow, we find wisdom and strength,
To live with integrity, go the full length.
Illuminate the world with righteousness' gleam,
Live lives of faith, fulfill our dreams.
