The Radiance of Divine Transformation #2122

The Radiance of Divine Transformation In the heart of refuse, where shadows dwell, God's hand moves, a silent, powerful swell. Lifting the poor from dust, the needy from despair, In divine grace, we rise, breathe celestial air. Discarded by the world, yet chosen by His might, We, the overlooked, stand tall in His light. Dirt to some, but in God's eyes, we shine, His witnesses, vessels of love divine. In our lowliness, a strange elevation we find, Not in wealth, but in grace, we're defined. The rich, in their abundance, see their wealth pale, Against hearts touched by love, their riches frail. God watches the sick, the restless in pain, His compassion unwavering, His love our gain. What He’s bought with His sacrifice, forever stays, A transaction of love, sealed through eternal days. Seeking Christ's mind, a profound mystery to unfold, What fills our minds, our lives will hold. "Wake up, O sleeper, rise from the dead," Ancient words of life, by which we are led. From dust, we ascend, from garbage, we soar, In our witness, God's power, forevermore. The poor bear a message, transcending earth's wealth, Revealing true poverty, hearts untouched by His stealth. In His light, the world’s scales fall away, We find enrichment, in His truth, we stay. In this divine economy, values invert, The last become first, the humble, God's experts. Our journey from dust to witness, a testament true, God's light upon us, His eternal hue. Let us embrace this transformation, divine and bright, Awaken to Christ's call, and shine His light. In our witness, let His grace and truth be shown, Lifting others from the dust, to His love known. May His radiance transform, shine through each day, In the light of His love, forever we stay. -Steven G. Lee (July 1, 2024)
