WHEN NEARNESS REVEALS GOD'S WILL

WHEN NEARNESS REVEALS GOD'S WILL

Many people seek God's will by looking beyond the ordinary, expecting it to appear through extraordinary signs or distant revelations. Yet throughout the life of Christ, God's will was most clearly revealed through nearness.

Jesus drew near to the sick before healing them, to sinners before forgiving them, to the hungry before feeding them, and to the broken before restoring them. His ministry demonstrated that divine purpose is not discovered by distancing ourselves from human need, but by entering it with compassion.

The Cross stands as the greatest testimony to this truth. God did not remain distant from human suffering. In Christ, He came near. Through sacrificial love, He revealed that mercy is not an exception to His will—it is its fullest expression.

The will of God becomes visible wherever people choose presence over indifference, compassion over convenience, and service over self-interest. Every step toward a forgotten neighbor is a step toward the heart of God. Every burden willingly shared uncovers another portion of His purpose.

Nearness transforms faith from an idea into a living witness. It reminds us that the Kingdom of God is not merely proclaimed with words but revealed through relationships shaped by mercy.

Perhaps we ask the wrong question when we wonder where God's will can be found. Rather than asking, "Where should I go?" we may first ask, "Whom can I draw near to in love?"

For when we walk toward those whom the world overlooks, we often discover that God has already gone before us.

The will of God is not found by standing at a distance. It is revealed when love draws near.
