THE THRONE IS PROVEN BY THE CROSS

THE THRONE IS PROVEN BY THE CROSS

Christ's throne is not established by power alone but revealed through sacrifice. The Gospel does not first invite us to admire a crown of gold; it calls us to behold a crown of thorns. Before the world witnessed His exaltation, heaven revealed His kingdom upon the cross.

Whether one believes we are living in the Millennial Reign or awaiting its fulfillment, the measure of Christ's kingdom remains the same. His reign is made visible wherever truth is spoken with humility, justice is tempered by mercy, the forgotten are remembered, and neighbors are loved without condition.

The cross is the constitution of Christ's kingdom. Mercy is its law. Love is its authority. Service is its greatness.

A church may proclaim that Christ reigns, but its testimony is incomplete unless His reign is reflected in the lives of His people. Every act of forgiveness proclaims His sovereignty. Every burden carried for another reveals His crown. Every sacrifice made in love becomes evidence that the King is still reigning.

The world often searches for Christ upon magnificent thrones. The Gospel continually leads us back to Calvary, where divine authority was revealed not through domination but through self-giving love.

The throne of Christ is forever glorious because it can never be separated from the cross. Wherever the cross shapes our hearts, the Kingdom of God is already drawing near.
