Sacred Echoes in the Present #3

Sacred Echoes in the Present Embrace the hallowed breath that ebbs and flows, Sense the sanctity where you firmly stand. Your deeds, pure and true as a child's innocent shows, In such sacred awareness, time and space grand. Hold with reverence what graces your hands, If your actions are bathed in divine light. In the craft of treasuring what life demands, Find the moment when sacred work takes its flight. Idolatry, not a far-flung domain, But a choice, near or distant, in your sight. Gaze upon the cross, Christ's unchanging refrain, Let your spirit linger, in presence and plight. - Written by Steven G. Lee (December 15, 2023) "The wind blows where it wishes. You hear its sound, but you do not know where it comes from or where it is going. So it is with everyone born of the Spirit. 'How can this be?'" -John 3:8-9
