Echoes of Grace: The Prodigal's Path #4
Echoes of Grace: The Prodigal's Path
In wanderlust, a sheep astray,
Lost amidst the vast array.
In the shepherd's heart, it stays,
Seeking through the endless maze.
A coin, once gleaming, now unseen,
Lost in corners, once serene.
A woman searches, hope unleaned,
For what's lost must be redeemed.
And then the son, in wild roam,
Leaves his father's hearth and home.
In distant lands, he comes to know
The weight of solitude, alone.
But in his heart, a stirring plea,
For home and hearth, and family.
A journey back, humble, free,
To embrace a father's mercy.
Yet stands the elder, heart encased,
In judgment's cold, unwelcoming embrace.
Resentful of the love and grace,
Bestowed upon the errant's case.
He, too, stands at redemption's door,
Yet finds it hard to step ashore.
His story, an open, unfinished lore,
A heart in turmoil, a soul at war.
How can he tread this path anew,
The elder son, under heaven's view?
His struggle, quiet, yet deep and true,
In family's tale, a contrasting hue.
So ponder deep, oh wandering heart,
In life's vast tapestry, you're a part.
In seeking, finding, a divine art,
In God's embrace, a new start.
Yet in the elder's eyes, a dizzy spin,
A tale untold, where does one begin?
For both sons' hearts, and all akin,
God's grace awaits, to enter in.
