> THE TRUE MEASURE OF A LIFE
The true measure of a life is not determined by accumulation, longevity, or outward success, but by what is willingly given in truth and love.
A life is weighed not by what it retains, but by what it releases—
not by comfort preserved, but by courage exercised
when faithfulness carries cost.
The standard of this measure is not visible performance, but inward surrender expressed through outward action:
mercy extended without recognition,
truth upheld despite pressure,
and love practiced where it is most difficult.
This measure is ultimately revealed in relation to the Cross.
The Cross does not account for what one has gained,
but for what one has entrusted to God—
what has been laid down for the sake of others,
and what has been surrendered in obedience to truth.
Therefore, a life cannot be rightly evaluated by appearance or claim alone.
It must be examined by its willingness to give, to endure, and to remain faithful under cost.
Where loss becomes offering,
and love remains steadfast,
there the measure of a life is fulfilled.
