> THE GOSPEL PROVEN BY COST
The truth of the Gospel is not established by its popularity, its visibility, or its ease of acceptance. It is proven by cost.
Where there is no cost, there is no cross.
Where there is no cross, there is no Gospel.
The life, teaching, and death of Jesus Christ reveal that the Kingdom of God does not advance through convenience, but through sacrifice—through obedience that endures loss, truth that withstands rejection, and love that persists even when it is not returned.
The Gospel, therefore, cannot be measured by attendance, affirmation, or outward success. It is measured by what one is willing to surrender in order to remain faithful to truth.
To follow Christ is to enter a life where comfort is no longer the standard, and where faithfulness may require misunderstanding, isolation, or suffering. Yet it is precisely in this cost that the authenticity of faith is revealed.
A Gospel that demands nothing changes nothing.
A faith that costs nothing proves nothing.
The Cross stands as the enduring testimony that truth carries weight—that grace is not cheap, and that redemption is not abstract. It is lived, embodied, and often borne in silence.
Therefore, the call of the Gospel is not merely to believe, but to follow—to live in such a way that truth is upheld even when it requires sacrifice.
For it is not in what is gained, but in what is willingly given up for the sake of truth, that the Gospel is made visible in the world.
